Dental Nook is a thriving, 5-operatory private practice with one dedicated dentists—and we’re looking for an exceptional Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our family. If you're energetic, reliable, and excited to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we want to meet you!
Who We’re Looking For:
A confident, detail-oriented EDDA who can thrive in a busy setting and adapt quickly. The ideal candidate will:
Excel in a fast-paced environment and be reliable to part time hours.
Perform strong clinical skills, including the ability to:
- Take a full-mouth series (FMX) in under 5 minutes.
- Follow checklists and maintain a clean, organized operatory.
- Assist confidently in:
- Extractions.
- Implant placements.
- Fillings (including interproximal with Palodent, no voids).
- Crowns and bridges.
- Root canals and pulpotomies.
- Invisalign.
- Wisdom teeth procedures.
Handle solo tasks independently, such as:
- Placing sealants (with DryShield).
- Seating crowns.
- Placing all fillings.
- Polishing, flossing, and providing oral hygiene instruction.
Support essential office operations, including:
- Sterilization and lab tasks.
- Daily and routine cleaning.
- Monthly deep-clean rotations (autoclaves, ultrasonic, operatories, breakroom, floors).
Must Haves:
- No drama attitude.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and excellent attendance.
- A team-first attitude with positive, professional energy.
